The prospect of making my own bridal jewelry was both exciting and frightening. I have been making jewelry since I was a young child and got into wire jewelry and had a shop in etsy about 4 years ago, so it made sense that I would give it a go. But the fear of messing up when it was for my wedding day kept we awake at night!
So I searched different designs and bought numerous beads in shades of brown, cream and pink trying to figure out exactly what I wanted to make. Then I found it…
Hot fuchsia pearls.
With a design in mind that I had seen while browsing etsy (I can’t find the exact site for the inspiration or I would post it here), I went to work and created this beautiful and unique bridal necklace for my wedding:
I just loved how it came out! Clusters of bright pink pearls and Swarovski crystal, hanging down low enough on my chest to accent the sweetheart line of my dress. It helped to carry out the pop of color along with my fuchsia shoes and flowers perfectly! Being that the necklace was quite a statement piece, I kept it simple and just did a cluster of 3 crystals for my earrings.
With the extra pearls I was able to make all of my bridesmaid jewelry to match too!
I kept the bridesmaid jewelry simple with a solitary wire-wrapped pearl for the necklace and a single pearl suspended from a chain for each earring. Great way to tie us all together
